Update #14

Things are still much the same as they where a week ago. Good days and bad. LaRee is only lucid about 30% of the time due to her drugs. She is still hallucinating. There is not much news to report in the way of movement in her body other then that which has already been reported. Her NIF level is still a 16 or 17 depending on the day. The Dr. has given her medication so she will not remember most of this last week. Thank heavens!

Hi, I was wondering if you received flowers for LaRee? I sent her some a couple days ago. Is she able to have them in her room?

Thanks, Kalena Sakaria

LaRee,
I just heard tonight at the Turks game about what you are going thru ... and I was so completely taken aback and just so sorry to hear it. My first reaction was - Thank God it is not permanent - the second was... what can i do! After reading the blog, i see you are so very well cared for and only able to be visited by family. So, i just want you to know that you are very much in my thoughts and I pray the paralysis receedes quickly. You are so blessed to have all who love you around and caring for you. Just know that if you need (((ANYTHING))), please don't hesitate to ask... be it now, a week or 3 months from now - help with meals, housekeeping, etc...
Take care and Get Well Soon!

Dear Miss LaRee,
I came to see you the other day and was sad to find out that you were ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Pat and Chloe. I am glad to hear that you have such a wonderful family to have them by your side!! We are praying for your full, speedy recovery. Can't wait to talk more about Disneyland. Maybe this time I will tag along with Cassie. Anything I can do for you and the family please let me know!!
See you soon!!!!!!

Dear LaRee,
I have made a point to see Chloe every day and give her a big squeeze and tell her how much I have been thinking about her and the rest of your family. I will continue to keep a special eye on her at school and give her all the love and support that I gave her last year as her third grade teacher. Our love and prayers are with you and your family for a speedy recovery. Love, Ms. Boury
